I needed a TV mount that could be vertical or horizontal, also called 360 or portrait and landscape. I'm putting these keywords in so others can find this review because I've been searching and searching for a TV mount that could do this. I installed a 32 inch RCA in my mancave to play retro arcade games. I needed one that I could SIMPLY and FAST change orientations with. The best I read was "this can change in seconds”. It didn't sound fast enough for me. It sounded more confusing than I wanted. I just wanted to rotate the TV either vertically or sideways, YES this TV mount does just that! I took a risk and it paid off. Man that never happens Item is solid metal, comes with a few screws, washers and spacers to easily match the VESA mounting holes (mine was 100x200) on my TV. Wall anchors are also included, but you'll definitely want to mount it on a stand. My TV doesn't quite weigh 10 pounds and this mount is solid. However, I can't speak to a maximum weight of 44 pounds. He also suggests using a 5/32 drill bit to drill the 2" pilot hole which, incredibly, I also had in my possession, marked and placed well into the right spot. That alone is a miracle. It took two people to install it - one to hold the bracket and one to drill. Hope you have a friend when it arrives. Make sure your new friend has a 5/32 drill and drill bit. And beer. Hey, he must be so lucky to have a new friend like you. You can see in the picture that the TV is in portrait (vertical) and landscape (horizontal) orientation and you just need to rotate the TV to do this. Very easy. It has great articulation - a bit tight, but I'd prefer it to bounce all over the place. You will love this article. Even if you need it for something as mundane as hanging a TV. take action. I bought two; one for me and one for my dear wife. I know I don't have to say she's beautiful as it has nothing to do with a TV mount but hey if she ever reads this I want her to know that I told the world she was knocked out . But anyway, if you want the verticality I've been looking for in a TV mount, it should be on its way to your home already.
