I bought 3. We use them in conferences to share speaker's laptop and one channel to projection and the other Channel to send to Channel Records/Stream. Unfortunately, all three are inferior. They all have constant horizontal line noise. The problem consisted of three or four completely different kits with different hardware. Our previous splitters had to be used in any case. I honestly shook them, but it's very disappointing when your experience is far from what the reviews imply. I only bought them because I couldn't find the Insten brand I had before. I had issues with that HDCP crap too, but it was my fault for not thinking it would be a problem. See the red circle in the image for an example problem. Often it was only in the text of the speaker slide, but sometimes it happened in other places as well. This line appeared and disappeared within a few seconds, sometimes for several hours, with an interval of just a few seconds, sometimes without flickering for 10 minutes at a time. It *looks* like HDCP interference, and since it sometimes got stuck on specific content rather than the entire screen, some weird copy protection might have been trying to work. It's hard to say other than I won't. buy more.
