I love this camera! I had three Canons, the last being the S95. I've spent hours removing red-eye from almost every shot I've taken with the S95. So this time I chose Nikon. I'm glad I did! I've had very few photos with red eyes! Most of them if you use the zoom option. The S95 has way too many bells and whistles and I needed a camera that I could turn on and shoot and this one worked for me! The options are hidden deep inside the S95 and I didn't like pulling out the manual every time I took a picture. The Nikon 8200 offers the best options right on the camera wheel. Light! The zoom is amazing and looks just as sharp as without the zoom. I'm used to the S95's pop-up flash. I just move my finger and if it bothers me I turn it off and on again. This takes a few seconds. HD video looks great and sounds great. "Record" is a separate button on the camera and you don't have to move the dial. When you press the record button, the camera goes black for a second, so be ready a second before you start recording. The battery life is also good. I take a lot of photos and only had to charge it twice in two months. I prefer to have an extra charged battery on hand so I bought a kit with an extra battery and mains charger. I couldn't believe the price; it costs money.
