Before I got this belt I bought a more expensive real leather version. This strap was too short so I sent it back and got this one instead. The genuine leather belt definitely felt like a higher quality belt that you could possibly use and wear on a regular basis. If you plan to wear a tunic very often, I definitely advise you to buy a quality leather belt. This belt looks a lot less pretty, and it's great if (like me) you only use it on a suit that you rarely wear. Considering this belt doesn't feel like leather I think it's really great value for money. It's close enough to the skin that it doesn't ruin the look of your suit. The embossing on the belt also adds a nice Viking touch. Belt. Depending on how wide your waist is, you may find that too much of the belt is left undecorated. In any case, this belt is just right for my needs. If you only want to use it as part of a suit that you rarely wear then I wouldn't pay more for a genuine leather belt. This one will do.
