My friend was really mad about this and made me buy it to guarantee it's the best camera grip out there. I really don't understand what the fuss is about. Yes, it's neat, you can wrap anything anywhere, but there are things that annoy me like hell. First off, it takes a damn coin to even screw the tripod on and off, which is annoying as hell. I recently got a newer grip with a wheel you can turn to mount the camera, so much easier! Second, the screws began to loosen during the shoot, forcing me to find someone with allen wrenches. I don't understand this thing with a wooden handle - it's so stupid to only have one. The finger grooves on the handle are also made for people with three fingers. If you have 3 fingers you will love the wooden handle. not ergonomic at all, and the thing is badly balanced. Check out the Neewer Camera Grip - it's much better designed, makes more sense and is easier to use, plus it looks cooler. You'll be glad you did. Hence the term "gay as a wooden camera handle".
