Enhance Your DSLR Experience with the CAMVATE Camera Cage: Top Handle & Wood Grip for Canon 600D, 70D, and 80D Review

This is the second time I've been asked to review this camera cage. In my personal opinion this is a bad bass chamber cage. Remember there is a cage with a left handle and a right handle.

I love how compact the cage is for any DSLR and how easy it is to adjust. The camera feels pretty secure when installed. I should have bought this from the start and not other brands that couldn't adapt.

I like this cage. This allows me to use a minimum of hand held equipment or a lot of tripod equipment. Definitely a good buy. I had to buy an extension on the side to mount my 70D with a battery grip but without the grip it fit perfectly.

I read a few reviews before purchasing this cage and realized a lot of them weren't true. It's really easy to assemble, common sense actually, it's only 3 parts! I can also easily open the battery cover on my Canon 80D without blocking it! I love the feel and the quality and I love how I can add more in the near future! I look forward to using this when carrying a gimbal is too much and you want to run and shoot!

I bought this after reviewing DSLR Video Shooter on YouTube. It's big enough for my Nikon D600 but can also be used with my Sony a6000. Lots of bells and whistles and gadgets, but NO instructions. This is a great cage for a DSLR. I was nervous looking at it online and wasn't sure how strong and safe it would be, but having it in person is exactly what I wanted. My friend was really mad about this and made me buy it to guarantee it's the best camera grip out there. I really don't understand what the fuss is about. Works great on my Lumix G7 (after a bit of tweaking). The threaded holes on the 145mm stem seemed to fall out of the wall a bit: the twin bolts holding the wooden grip to the stem were not easily tightened and then pulled only halfway out; I tried it on a 125mm rod (as well as another rod I had) and it worked great. I was looking for a similar mount that would fit both my Canon t5i and 80D. It feels strong and durable while still being lightweight. The wooden grip is fine, but I'd like to put in some sort of rubberized pistol grip instead to give a better grip. to balance the setup.
