This is a great cage for a DSLR. I was nervous looking at it online and wasn't sure how strong and safe it would be, but having it in person is exactly what I wanted. It attaches to the hot shoe on top of the camera to have a second point of contact and prevent all of the weight from holding the 15mm rail to the side. The bottom panel is small enough to open the battery compartment and remove the battery from the Canon t5i without disassembling the rig. It's also highly customizable, and you can flip the whole thing to grab it with your left hand, or just move parts around (e.g. just the top handle). There are also plenty of 1/4" and 3/8" holes for a variety of accessories.
