My hair has gotten quite long during this pandemic, as I am not comfortable with the idea of getting a haircut during this mess. I started wearing a hat, but wearing one indoors all the time felt kind of cumbersome. Also I felt like it was pulling my hair a bit much with how tight it was sitting, so I ended up started searching for hair clips, having never bought any before. While these hair clips weren't exactly what I was looking for, I'm definitely glad I got em. Super cheap, but the quality of the build and the aesthetics don't reflect that. Nice blend of material types, looks slick, and exceedingly gentle with hair. I have thick straight hair, and it's long enough that a quick pass through with just my hand will normally leave a stray hair. With these hair clips, I forgot I had one on and took my shirt off with it. It got tangled in the shirt and I basically yanked it out of my hair. I didn't feel a thing, and no hair came out. Which was very surprising; I dunno what the rubbery not rubber material is, but it practically cradles your hair. If you happen to be a dude looking for a (non-social) hair clip, heartily recommend getting these. I know I'm probably not using them as they were intended, but for a need-to-game-without-my-hair-tickling-my-retinas hair holder, it's a 10 outta 10.
