Was pleased with the good workmanship of this belt on first arrival. Very heavy buckle (perhaps too heavy), strong strap and reliable tensioning mechanism. Although over time I became disillusioned with him. I use this belt 90% in the office. The brass finish of the "buckle" has worn away over time, revealing the bluish silver underneath. It's very ugly and you can't do anything about it. The train click seems to stop during the day so you have to keep winding it up throughout the day. I'm not sure if this is because the release mechanism is at the bottom of the buckle or not, or if the clicks just stop working over time. This is possible because your seated pressure acts on the small lever, making a click or two. Also, the canvas version of this belt that I have is a simple layer of fabric sewn to the bottom of the rubber or leather belt. After 5 months of daily use, the edge of the fabric began to crumble in various places on the belt. This is very ugly. Mission replaced a worn belt very quickly, but this is the same canvas I bought and I just don't think it will last any longer than the first one. If I had to buy it again it wouldn't be the canvas version or the brass buckle version.
