I needed a slightly larger pillow than the one I use. I bought this pillow, I'm curious about memory foam. It arrived within two days, vacuum sealed and rolled up in a zipped canvas tube. The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was that it was heavy, like a hard memory foam pillow. My partner cut open the vacuum bag and the pillow quickly came to life. I put my hand in to spread the foam a little more evenly, then zipped it back up. We put the pillow in the dryer for 10 minutes according to the instructions. When he brought it back up, it was completely inflated. Now for the amazing part. This pillow is definitely an upgrade from my previous polyfill pillow. I'm specifically talking about the "cool side". I had the proverbial night sweats on my polyfill pillow. I woke up and the thing was saturated. I had to wash it and the case often. However, last night I slept for several hours on the cool side of a foam pillow in the same position with no movement. When I woke up I realized I hadn't turned around and was ready to pry my head off the wet pillow, but to my surprise the pillow was completely dry! My head wasn't sweating either! So here is my review of this shredded memory foam pillow. For the price I'd say you're getting a decent deal.
