A true masterpiece of the game. Tragic, elegiac, unforgivingly dark and filled with an oppressive atmosphere of doom like no other game I've played. Deeply touching, complex, varied and above all funny. This semi-sequel to Ocarina of Time takes all the usual Zelda tropes and mixes them with some cool new mechanics (you play in three-day cycles, endlessly resetting the timeline to make iterative progress and save the world of Termina ). Like me, you'll find that many of the new handheld Zelda entries are missing and ultimately overly simplistic. Majora's Mask is a throwback to an era of more complex experiences. I'd say it might be overkill for a handheld game, but 3D does a great job. The new graphics are great and many gameplay issues from the original have been fixed. It's very playable, but the limitations of the 3-day cycle can sometimes make it a bit difficult to play this game on the go (for example, the save point system makes it difficult to exit the game without losing progress when your train arrives at your station). ). However, this is a complete, complete, excellent game that is fun and full of things to do. I highly recommend it.
