Organic Pea Protein Powder is a good substitute for traditional dairy or soy products. No flavors are added to the powder, so it only has a slight pea flavor and is very mild, allowing it to be used in a variety of products. It's a good choice for use in protein drinks or smoothies, but can also be added to muffins, pancake or waffle batter, soups, sauces, etc. to boost the protein content. I use these products regularly because I eat very little meat, so these supplements allow me to meet the RDA for protein and I am increasingly preferring such single-ingredient products to chocolate or vanilla shake powders. A 30-gram serving with two scoops has 120 calories, 25 grams of protein, 2 grams of fat (2/3 grams saturated), less than 1 gram of carbohydrates and sugars, and 18 percent of the daily value of sodium. An amino acid profile is also provided. For those with allergies and sensitivities, the product is processed in a facility that also processes peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, coconut, milk and eggs. To estimate the expiration date at the time of writing this review in August 2021 the expiration date is 22 months in the future but dates may vary.
