They can be made from the cheapest board you can find at the hardware store and a coat of cheap wood stain. The boards are rough and smell of wood stain. They have a strange bluish cast that is not visible in the photos or description. Pretty disappointing and I will definitely be sending them back. A kid can make them and they will look just as good.
