Two of these installed about 7 months ago. One in the guest room and one in my office. Guests said that this room is free. I'm not sure if it was a bad cable or what. Today my trackpad was not working, kept disconnecting. After a lot of troubleshooting I found that it doesn't load. Tested the cable and then the USB socket on this device. It turns out that one of the USB sockets on each of the two I bought does not charge. Contacted Amazon who put me in touch with Topgreener. Topgreener would like to send me a return label to send sockets back for testing. Said never mind, didn't want exposed outlets or hassle. They then said they would send a return label and a replacement. Too much work for something that used to have a 100% failure rate. BUY ADAPTER FOR USB PORTS (AND NIGHTLIGHT). Less expensive, easy to install and/or retrofit.
