The picture depicts the pot to fit the stand so snuggly, the legs touch the side of of the pot but in reality the pot is three inches smaller all the way around making it possible to shift the pot so it is unstable and capable of tipping over. The pot opening is on 7.5 inches not 8 and in my case the base of my artificial palm that I wanted to put in the pot is 8 inches wide, I need that half inch. I have to return the thing since it looks hoky with how small the pot is on the stand and it won’t work for my use since my plant won’t fit in the pot. The stand is well made and the pot thick and robust with a good finish on it but I can’t use the thing with the size problems going on so I am returning it.
