Initially I was looking for a replacement for my old Canon MVX450 mini camera. I wanted to find a camera that would not be inferior in image quality + that would save me from unnecessary trouble (to be honest, I was tired of digitizing films). After reading positive reviews, I decided to take it. The first test clips filmed by Panasonic showed that the camera noticeably loses to the old camera in terms of image clarity (the boundaries of objects are somewhat blurred, moving objects leave behind a slight trail). in general, the picture does not please with its freshness, clarity and lightness. I think that this may be due to 1. inexpensive matrix 2. inexpensive optics. 3. MPEG2 format. I think that this camera can be recommended as: a camera for preparing scenes for WEB; a gift for a "young" video operator); cameras for some kind of rough, technical shooting. I myself will change the camera to another, this one did not triple me. Good luck with your choice!
