I bought this to bring my 35 inch monitor closer to my eye level. It has a wide metal V-shaped base. I knew I had to assemble the vertical stand as a whole. does his job. However, I don't like that the pieces sit on top of each other and nothing holds them together. I ended up using plastic zip ties to attach the monitor to the stand pieces. You can see the left and right pieces sit on top of the bottom center piece. All 3 parts are free to move if not attached as a unit. Maybe I missed something during assembly?
