Overall disappointing product. Aesthetically they look very nice, but the main purpose of a white reverse light is to illuminate what's behind you. The JL's rear camera is phenomenal, but it needs enough light to show objects behind you when reversing at night. Honestly, these taillights and all equivalent competitor models should not be sold. I would like to understand how they can be DOT certified when the lighting is so poor. I sent my pair back for this reason. There is no instruction and no warranty information. Installation is pretty easy though, and when I contacted the vendor for installation instructions, they responded quickly but directed me to another vendor's YouTube video for installation. After watching the video, it can be replaced fairly quickly. So if you like the look of these lights (I really liked them) and if you have other means of illuminating the area behind you when reversing at night then I think you'll definitely be happy, but for most we Those who have not added rear-facing courtesy lights should be aware that using these taillights can be dangerous.
