I bought this to replace the detergent dispenser plunger which came with a ceramic dispenser made by a local craftsman. We loved having our dish soap in an attractive container to match the sponge holder, but the original plunger didn't last long. This fits perfectly, works great with dish soap and the brushed stainless steel finish matches our faucets and other brushed SS faucets and appliances. I liked the advice in the description on how to use the cap on a 2 liter bottle to see if this fits or not. I used a single shot soda bottle cap (same size as a 2 liter cap, FYI) so I was sure it would fit - and it did.
