Useless. Well, I dared. I should not have done that. I was unable to remove the faucet handle to prevent the tub spout from leaking. So I ordered a faucet puller (which worked for a week, by the way) and at the same time ordered some valve stem washers, which I figured was the problem. removed the faucet handle, then pulled the stem out, took it to a hardware store, then bought either a new stem or stem washer. The washer I wanted ($2.99 plus tax) turned out to be similar to a WWII German infantry helmet, which has a wider skirt than the top and snaps in and out rather than being screwed on. Needless to say, they are not included in this collection. Not so hot what's up; I spent about $7 on this motley collection of washing machines, but I saved $200 by not hiring the local plumbers.
