This is a HEAVY 5" grinder. However, there is no comparison. Performance and durability are second to none. This does NOT compare to anything you can buy at Home Depot. Early 2002 I bought a DeWalt 4.5" grinder. Later that week I broke it and replaced it with a Milwaukee 4.5" (Milwaukee tools are awesome btw) and broke the same day. My mechanic said it wasn't the tool's fault, I just sanded it too hard. for such a small mill. He sold me a 5" Metabo quick release nut, variable speed with auto clutch. He said he couldn't be killed. 15 years later I still use it for work 5 days a week. I just bought these because I finally got it Tired of switching between cutting and grinding wheels, the old one is my cutter now and this one is my grinder.
