It's hard to fault a tongue scraper as it falls short in every way. First, the edges (of both the handle and the scraper) are extremely sharp and require deburring. Just cheap and lazy and VERY awkward in your language (probably dangerous too). Second, the head is annoyingly narrow. Third, the angle of the scraping surface is so slanted that it simply glides across your tongue and does little to nothing. A pair of pliers can fix the angle, but why even bother. There are several others in our family, none of whom have these flaws. This goes straight into the garbage where it belongs.
