Well-made cymbal rollers

I buy wheels and casters all the time for different projects. I love the fact that I can create moveable structures and have options on where to install them temporarily. I really feel I have the right to rate them as I've seen several of these types of reels over the years and these are possibly the best I've ever used. The plastic material of the wheel is slightly harder. So if you're rolling something heavy, you need to watch out for any debris that could cause the wheels to skid. I usually prefer softer wheels, but the ones I have wear out very quickly. Solid material should last a long time. All of the rotating or rotating parts on these reels are supported by bearings, and I mean ball bearings, not bushings. Everything rotates and rolls effortlessly. The wheel bearings are fully protected from debris and the slewing bearings are adequately shielded to keep them safe. The brake (all reels have a brake) is very effective and is fairly easy to engage and disengage. All steel material is thicker to withstand heavier loads and all steel is plated to resist corrosion. The manufacturer claims that each of these will hold 250 pounds, and that's very plausible. As an added bonus, all mounting hardware (nuts/bolts etc.) is included. I attached them to a moveable workbench and used a couple of screws (not included) on each wheel frame and they worked fine. If you need to move something from time to time, this is a good value for your project.

Pros
  • Easy to Use: Equipped with a 360-degree swivel head, the rollers can respond to changes in direction instantly. These wheels run on ball bearings to keep the wheel spinning even under heavy loads. This allows you to work in tight spaces or other conditions where greater maneuverability is required.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
