Like all other EHIEM products that I have used this thermostat is first class. It feels well built as soon as you pick it up, and the price is right. Even the suction cups work great, no slipping once attached. After the initial calibration, the temperature will remain stable after installation. When delivered, it was bent by about one degree. Calibration is controlled by a small red adjustable ring with an arrow pointing to temperature. The power indicator light is dark orange and is set to a good brightness. The indicator lights on many products tend to be too bright, but that's not the case here. My favorite feature is the auto shut off when the water level is too low. It's a minor convenience, but I like that I don't have to unplug everything for a water change. You can't expect much from a thermostat.
