This is a correct factory replacement part for a 1992 Firebird. (passenger side only). Install and remove it very easily by understanding how the mount works. Bend the lever at the hinge and at the same time pull out the latch that holds the lever in the bent position. fastening; and while releasing the tension from the latch, push or tap inward to secure the lever to the bracket. Then lower the lever assembly onto the windshield.
