I live on the river, we kayak and tubing all the time. We've spent a lot of money on waterproof radios that don't work long after they've been splashed with water. I actually dropped this one by accidentally dunking it under water. Since then we have used it 4 times. It's not step by step. I LOVE IT! Very loud and great acoustics! It's so easy to connect and it has a pocket to hold all your stuff. I've spent 7 times on others that weren't as good! 10 stars! Update: 2 months later. Still works great after being tossed and splashed in the river for at least five 8 mile river trips, tubing and biking. And we can use it for two days on a single charge before the battery runs out. THE BEST AT ALL! I've had it for a year now and it's been submerged in water many times and it's still working great!
