Review on 🖊️ ADONIT Droid Replacement DISC Kits - 2 Pack by Gabriel Rosenberg

I really wanted to like this stylus. It has great reviews, both here and online. I also have an Adonit Snap 2 active capacitive stylus which I really like. But I wanted some passive options that didn't require daily charging to keep in my purse and backpack. When I received the Adonit Droid I was immediately impressed with the build quality. I tried it on my iPhone XS Max and had no problems with it. So my guess is that it works on at least some new iOS devices with high-resolution screens. However, after a few days of use, the prompt started skipping. And after a few days it stopped working at all! It is no longer recognized by any of my devices. I also ordered an Adonit Jot Pro 3, a larger version with a slightly larger drive. Exactly the same experience. Worked fine for a few days, then started skipping and then stopped working altogether. When I encountered this problem I searched the internet and there are reports of this problem dating back to 2012 with many "workarounds" such as: B. Using foil or conductive compound on the tip to improve performance. So this seems to be a common problem that not everyone but many people face. There are many other disc tip pen options here at Revain and I have found alternatives that use a flexible rubber joint rather than a solid one. a metal ball joint that Adonit appears to have pioneered. The Koovin capacitive stylus has great reviews for a comparable price but with extra tips. A much better option! Not only does it feel more durable, it's a pleasure to use! The disk returns to its original position when removed from the screen, also eliminating the need to constantly change the disk's position during recording. I will be returning these two Adonit Disc needles which makes me sad. It seems that their active stylus pens are much better value for money and more stable than their passive options.
