Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Enhanced Rear-Mounted SKS2 Bicycle Kickstand for Greenfield Bikes by Josh Chenier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Durable, light and offers very good stability.

This review is for Greenfield SKS2-305B 305mm Rear Stabilizer Bar, Black Aluminum. I installed one on a 1998 Specialized Hardback 19" MTB frame with 26" tires and one on a 2010 Trek 3700 13" frame. I used the included rubber grommets on both bikes. Tools required: a regular screwdriver and two Allen keys. No modifications were required to properly fit my "Specialized". However, on my trek, two of the four mounting bolts need to be 1/2 inch longer. This GF rear stand weighs 260 g (lightweight). The 305mm length keeps both bikes about 10-15 degrees off vertical for more power, good size and a stable footprint. .They are quiet and do not interfere with riding. The rear kickstand allows you to push the bike backwards without interfering with the pedals. These 305mm long greenfield kickstands keep both bikes very stable, not upright but in one position , in which the bikes don't tip over, allowing both bikes to remain upright while supporting 30-40 pounds. I would buy a 305mm length for any bike with 26" tires. I also recommend manufacturing in the USA.
