I bought a Firstrend camera system with 4 cameras and no hard drive. The instructions were easy and the cameras connected to the NVR as soon as I turned on the system. However, due to my own error, two cameras subsequently separated from the dash cam and I was very discouraged for about 24 hours. However, Firstrend's support is very good. Owen took my call and emailed me some instructions which solved the problem immediately. Wireless signal strength is good - I have a camera upstairs and about 35 feet from the NVR and it syncs perfectly with the NVR. However, if you run into problems, Firstrend sells a signal booster that will most likely fix the problem. The picture quality is excellent and the infrared night vision is amazing - I can easily see from 80-100 feet away. I installed a 1 terabyte hard drive in the dashcam. It was easy to format and big enough for my purposes. Danale's remote viewing software is excellent. It will be nice to visually check our house when we're gone. All in all a very good system at a reasonable price.
