Waited almost 3 years to find the perfect coffee table for size, looks and price and this one fits. All the hardware went into a small pouch and secured with tape, so they may have solved the loose hardware issue that others have mentioned. It's not too heavy and I (a woman) was able to lift the box up the stairs by myself and assemble it in about 20 minutes. It would be even faster with a second pair of hands. There are many holes on the bottom of the tree which confused me at first, but the only holes that matter are the threaded ones, which line up perfectly with the holes on the legs. The assembly includes 12 screws and an Allen key. A monkey could do it! The wood has been treated and is very easy to maintain. The surface isn't flat/smooth, it's rustic and a bit uneven, with nail holes here and there - just what you'd expect from reclaimed wood and what I was hoping for. I've attached a few photos to better show the finish. This table is strong, sturdy, beautiful and made of real wood. And the price for that is unbeatable. If only they made the same table!
