Review on 💄 Julep It's Balm Lip Balm Crayon, Moisturizing Lipstick & Glossy Lip Color – Vintage Mauve by Michelle Marie

I bought this Apricot Nude lip balm. It's a shame I spent €12 on it. Claims to be a balm and moisturizer. It is dry and leaves marks/stickiness on the lips. So when your lips are dry, not only does it NOT moisturize, it accentuates your dry lips and the residue stays on your skin until you need to clean/scrub it. After application it looks good at first, but the shiny/damp part fades quickly and after a few minutes it almost seems gone, like you've worn it for several hours (it's still there, caked in a thin layer). ). When I put it on I don't see the apricot color at all - it's whitish. Reminds me of a stick concealer from the 80's but not as thick. It goes in a thin layer; The more you apply, the whiter it gets. I even tried the iip liner again and it still didn't work - my lips were still like translucent white. If I could just return it I wouldn't write a bad review because sometimes with cosmetics you can't try before you buy. But it's non-refundable, which is frustrating. If it were around $4 I wouldn't write a review either, but $12 for a lip balm isn't normal.
