Review on πŸŽ’ Optimized Osprey Daylite Daypack in Dream Purple Shade by Jeff Figueroa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good but not great: Hiking backpacks

Not a bad little backpack but 3 things stood out as problematic: 1.) The shoulder straps were digging into the armpit area. I'm not a tall guy (5ft - 10in 165). I find that the straps are a bit narrow, which makes it uncomfortable to wear, even for short periods of time. 2.) The back pad doesn't breathe at all and in moderate temperatures (75-80 degrees) my back got excessively hot compared to the rest of my body 3.) It's just too small to be really useful were a bit too small. Perhaps it would be much more useful if it was 15 or 16 liters (on the zip model) instead of 13 liters. I have a North Face backpack that I have owned for ten years and I find it more versatile (around 17-20 litres).

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Can't remember but something was
