Cover fits snugly but can be easily removed. Without the case, I found the Sony remote too thin/small to hold and at times too slim to hold. This case increases the size so much that it is easier to hold in your hand and gives you more grip. I bought the bluish version of Glo-in-the-thark and this feature works, but obviously it needs to be charged by the ambient light to glow. Very satisfied, would happily buy again.
