This is a simple yet effective dry shampoo for my hair that is a darker shade of blonde but has natural blonde highlights (and some silver these days). My hair is quite long, but very fine, and if I don't wash my hair every day, it unfortunately looks rather flat and dull. I don't use dry shampoo very often, but when I do I find the spray type pretty convenient and easy to use. But since I have to go to the hospital and am only allowed to take a few things with me, I ordered this powder-based dry shampoo travel bottle. As soon as it arrived I tried it and found that it worked very well on my hair. When I opened the bottle there was no seal under the cap, but when I put the cap back on and twisted it to shake out some of the powder, nothing came out. I thought the tip was clogged with powder. , but as it turned out, a small cardboard disk was actually stuck in the lid and buried in the powder - after pecking it out with a hairpin, everything was fine. I'm a little uncomfortable shaking out the product for even coverage, so I just shake it in my hand and then apply. I rub it in a little and then wait a few minutes before combing through my hair and my hair really looks cleaner and fuller. In the past I've tried a few recipes to make my own dry shampoo to save money, but I've always had trouble scrubbing out the excess powder - the powder is very fine and fairly easy to comb out. The scent is very light and I only notice it briefly when applying the powder and then it goes away. At $14.99 for only 1.5 ounces, this product seems a bit pricey, but I don't really need much so I think it will last quite a while.
