Nice ceiling light but very difficult to install. Most ceiling lights attach to the ceiling with a thick post in the center. But this one is secured with two very small #8 screws. The 2 holes on the lantern are very small and the screws must be screwed in blind. I fought for 6 hours and was about to return the goods. Somehow I found a solution. I stuck 2 thin straws (the ones on juice boxes) through the holes in the lantern. Then lift the light to place the other ends of the straws onto the screws. Finally, using a straw as a guild, I put the screws in the holes. I also added a lock washer for each J-bolt as it attached to the metal plate. Otherwise, it will come loose when screwing the bottom nut. After installation it looked great in my living room.
