Worth the money.

I saw this mirror, only larger, in an expensive hotel on a trip a few months ago and thought it was very stylish and also very functional. When I was looking for a new ceiling light for our guest bathroom, I came across this mirror at Revain. After a lot of research I decided to do this and I'm glad I did. It looks good and is well built. I already had a mount over an existing mirror so wiring wasn't a problem for me. If you are not authorized to do house wiring, you will need the help of an electrician. The light is bright enough to be used as a makeup mirror, but not so bright as to be distracting. This will probably be bright enough for a small weight room, but for my bathroom (10 x 12) I also needed a ceiling light. What I would like to warn others about when purchasing this type of mirror/light is the construction. The LEDs in this one are fully enclosed behind the mirror, while in some others the LEDs are simply glued around the perimeter of the back of the mirror. Not cool, especially when you look at the room from behind the mirror at an angle. The touch switch worked fine but I bypassed it because I wanted the light to turn on with the overhead switch. Everyone who used this bath remarked how much they liked it. It would be easier for me to install it if I had a way to "bypass" the built in switch so I don't have to take the case separately to make the mod. BY THE WAY. In factory form, the switch area on the mirror glows softly all the time, acting as a night light and a way to find it in the dark. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
