My ATH-M50x headphones broke and I decided to take a chance and buy them as a cheap replacement. I also have an ATH-MSR7 and mostly listen to Spotify in high quality through a decent USB audio DAC/amplifier. I'm listening to a lot of David Grisman, Talking Heads these days - I'm picky about the clarity and detail of acoustic instruments and the MSR7's are pretty cool. But the OneOdio Pro-50 impresses me wildly - on the acoustic grisman, the bass is perfectly clear and the mandolin sparkles. The sound seems to be on par with the ATH-M50x, maybe it gets a little muddy in the low end when it's busy, but I'm not even sure. I don't have an MSR7 here for direct comparison - I think there's a bit more definition, but quite marginally, and it's about 4-5 times more expensive. The build quality of the OneOdio is plastic but there is a lot of padding, they are very comfortable and the sound quality is really amazing to my ears. Got a $10 rebate and for $45 or so they are phenomenal.
