I like the spaciousness, a lot of space for my things. At first I tried to put it on but it was too tight so I put it aside. As I said, I like that the hat is full, larger than the others I have on hand, so I picked it up again and decided to cut the elastic on the ears. If it's torn, that's okay. To my pleasant surprise, this did not happen. This ensures a clean cut and does not affect the fit. It still stays in place. I was careful not to cut it to the seam. I have a big head so I cut about five slits around the hood. Ah, sweet relief! When I get bored with the feel of the elastic, I flip the elastic and peel off the mesh lining so it frames my face and looks like a sheikh. I love this cap! They're more than reasonably priced so I just ordered three to have on hand for when it's time to throw out the one I'm wearing.
