Don't buy if you need lighting
I bought this because I don't have enough light in my bathroom to put makeup on properly. The mirror does not illuminate anything. It creates a halo, but there is literally no difference between mirror light on and off; My face is only illuminated by the main mirror in the bathroom. Also, the arm is rather short. When using the magnifying glass, I have to stand on tiptoe to get close enough to the mirror. We have a regular depth gauge and I didn't have this problem with the unlit mirror I used to have from Ikea.
