The Ridge Classic backpack is way better than you can imagine. This is not your choice of school backpack. It's well made, thoughtfully designed, and surprisingly large. Not only will it gobble up all your textbooks, but when I put mine to a more realistic test for my use, I was able to pack it with a couple of large studio mics (which came in a sizable hard case) and a mixer, a bunch of cables and jacks, a small stand for a microphone, a gooseneck stand, a protective cover for the microphone and a couple of notepads, folders and books. oh, and some snacks - all in stock! The backpack is made from a durable fabric that prevents rips or tears in their path, although after packing my backpack I didn't see how it could rip - unless I've ever thrown away a collection of knives or a bundle of sharp scissors .
