These HDMI ports are made up of Ethernet cables. WOW

WoW, that's a lesson. For years we have used Ethernet cables to transfer data between computers. These cables are built to last and provide high quality transmission even in the most chaotic/noisy/high electromagnetic environments, confusing and heavily flooded B/G/N cellular sites such as data centers. To protect your data from all these troubles, these Ethernet cables are heavily shielded to protect your data transmission and have a very low network transmission error rate. You understand all of the above, then here's the easy part. These cables are made from the same industrial grade home Ethernet cables. I see an immediate change in my desktop performance. I'm now at 120Hz refresh rate and 4k is working as expected. They are sold cheaply, but don't worry, the quality is good. There are many HDMI cables on the market. Don't chase the colors of the rainbow. The colors mean nothing. They're on the back of each device, so it's quality that counts, not looks. They are all black, which suits me. I recommend them to you. Please let me know if this review was helpful.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons

This cable failed the 8k test. I also purchased the shorter version and it passed.
