I loved that it fit my car perfectly (Excursion 2004). This is EXACTLY the same part as the Ford minus the text on the lever on the cover. The only loss is the Ford name and part number, which are replaced with the manufacturer's name instead. I take that as a HUGE savings on a Ford part sold today. I've read that others have had to drill new holes to get their parts to fit - they were the same pattern as the original and held on with the same 4 screws (this part didn't come with the required 4 screws).
