I love this little beast but sometimes it can be very frustrating to use. I use this drive with a 2015 MacBook Pro, which usually works fine unless (1) the computer dies while the hard drive is still connected, or (2) the drive is safely removed. In any case, when I plug it back in, the drive is no longer recognized and I have to do a drive repair using the Disk Utility app. Sometimes the restore fails and I have to either restart the computer or disconnect/reconnect the drive multiple times for the restore to work. Luckily this doesn't happen often and none of my files get lost/corrupted. However, I have not observed this behavior with other hard drives. Other than that, it's a great product - ultra-fast transfer rates and an amazing size. Overall I can still recommend this product.
