Update 27Apr21: I've only ridden this bike about 500 miles since installing the headlight kit and only twice at night. Last night the backlight was "shaking and flashing" when I started the bike. It turns out that on the right side/fog light, one of the LEDs in the housing is oscillating. With the engine off, I tapped the body of the flashlight and saw the LED inside tremble. This is not good. I have to downgrade my rating to three stars. Pros: Looks great, has a mega backlight. Cons: The headlight connector pins were too long to fit the connector into the bike's original cable connector. Had to cut off the original and replace the socket on the bike. Most HDs require you to fabricate something to attach the outer trim ring to. As shipped the headlight mounting hardware is too flimsy so I had to make some small L shaped clips to clip behind the mounting ring to give the trim ring something to catch on. It took a while to find this solution.
