Not a substitute for floss that scrapes plaque from teeth to gum line, but the best toothbrush, even before or between floss! Top dentists in the US have taught me how to properly use "soft" toothbrushes to avoid wearing down tooth enamel. Goldilocks finds this brand of SoFresh "just right" after disliking mouthwatchers, which are too rough and hard, never softening enough for gums and enamel, even after prolonged use, and Dr. Collins Perio is too flimsy and underpowered to handle and clean, and its longer "flossing" bristles are not suitable. as long or as effective as SoFresh at flossing out food particles from between your teeth. My only complaint is that I'm having a hard time finding the beautiful aquamarine "turquoise jade" at the moment; and of course SoFresh is not sold in stores. Happy flushing! :D
