I ordered what the product description said was 'little man' and got a plug that I couldn't use. In my 50+ years of DIY, the connector had a "prong" sticking out. and the socket had an internal connection into which a male "pin" was inserted. even plumbing has plugs and sockets. All fittings are marked "male" and "female". Men are the ones with a thread or something sticking out, and women are the ones sticking out, entering like a nut on a bolt. male, and the nut is female. The easiest way I can describe is to connect to your mobile phone charger. The end that plugs into an outlet in the wall is called the power plug, and the socket is called the jack. (man) I understand that gender is questionable in our society these days, but I didn't think that was the case with inanimate objects. So, like I said, please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you!
