when I bought this $10 mat) and I'm glad I stopped at this mat for less than half the price, I think it works just as well . I have a litter box in the closet by the front door and by the entrance to the kitchen, so we were constantly crunching garbage on the kitchen floor, and the cats were chasing it on the living room carpet. I swept every day to keep up, sometimes multiple times a day. I've used these soft wire mesh rugs in the past and while they seemed to hold a lot of dirt, over 50% of it still ended up on the floor and couldn't be cleaned. In the 2 days I've had the Pet Champion toilet mat, I've only had to sweep it once, and that's just because I was paranoid. I hardly swept the trash and see a lot of trash on the carpet. It's amazing how well this works and how easy the process is. None of my cats had any trouble stepping onto the mat itself. I will say that this is less than I expected. After all, my tray is in the closet and I was concerned that this rug would be too big to fit under the door, but it fills about half the closet. It's best to measure the space you plan to use and see if you need a second one. But I mean 2 of these quilts are still cheaper than an iPrimio Litter Filler.
