Review on πŸ’‘ Enhanced Efficiency Bioluz Filament Candelabra LED: Illuminate with Utmost Energy Savings! by Sara Rocha

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Really 40 watt equivalent bulbs, but still very good LED bulbs.

I'll put my claims about these bulbs aside for now as that's the only problem I have. They are listed as 60w equivalent when in fact they are 40w equivalent. Read more about it below. Now let's move on to the positive aspects. The first thing you will notice about these bulbs is that they don't look like your regular LED bulbs as they don't have a visible heat sink. With many LEDs, the bottom half of the bulb is for the heat sink. This heat dissipation device can block light propagation, so the light becomes directional rather than universal. These bulbs, on the other hand, don't have a normal heat sink and give off a nice, even light output similar to incandescent bulbs. The LED elements in these lamps also have an appearance that more closely resembles the filament you see in an incandescent lamp. at least more similar to other LED lamps. The long visible LED filament strips are more unique in appearance and almost retro. Color rating 2700k. Again, my only criticism is that they are advertised as 60W equivalents, but if that were true I would expect them to produce at least 500+ lumens. I have other equivalent 40 watt LED candelabras that produce the same amount of light as this one. All the online LED buying guides I've linked state that the equivalent of 40W should produce around 450 lumens. This is for a full size lamp. This is slightly lower for candelabra lamps, so 350 lumens is correct. I've seen many other 40 watt equivalents with 310-350 lumens. 60 watt candelabras typically have a luminous flux of 500 lumens. All in all these bulbs appear to be light weight, good looking, low power consumption and I recommend them but only as a 40w replacement. As for longevity. we just have to wait and see.
