I was looking for a cleanser that removes waterproof mascara. I used a philosophy cleansing oil that I liked but was discontinued. I don't like oil based cleaners because they leave a residue. I've tried a few different products and I didn't like anything before. It has a consistency similar to coconut oil and melts away with the warmth of your hands. The smell isn't very pleasant, but bearable in the short time I've been using it. I have relatively sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts. I've been using this product for a week now and find it gentle. With a gentle touch, it effortlessly removes my waterproof mascara. Then I apply a cleanser to wash everything afterwards. I can definitely recommend it and will buy it again.
