Nice but not as "warm " as I would like

These light strips were used for under cabinet lighting. Installed them with a Lutron dimmer switch and a dimmable DC magnetic transformer. Overall, they connect and fire almost reliably - just be prepared to flex your body into a few weird positions to see what you do. I had to take ibuprofen the next day! Overall they do a good job - the hum mentioned by others is barely noticeable to me, only if I really listen and only if I dim the lights. However, I did have a few issues with the strips: Color Temperature: I ordered a "warm white" which is advertised as having a color temperature of 3000K (I'm aiming for 2700K for home use). I'm no expert but they look closer to 4000K. I swapped out fluorescent lights hoping to get a warmer look, but now I have almost the same light color. Well, at least they dim! Installation: - Originally I intended to install them on the underside of the closet shelves using the sticky pads that came with the strips. Everything seemed easy until after 15-45 minutes the strips started falling off piece by piece. Afraid of drilling a hole in the bottom shelf, I installed them on the back of the cabinet's front overhang. In this case the sticky pads set them in place long enough for me to make a pilot hole and insert the mounting screws. RECOMMENDATION: Use sticky pads to temporarily place the strips, then drill a guide and use the included screws to attach. When I turn on the faucet, I see a "stop motion" effect as I watch the water flow (especially when adjusting the atomizer). In all other situations it is not noticeable at all. It would be nice if they had some kind of circuitry to keep the light on and not turn it on and off like that, but then again this is only visible when you're moving. Overall they do their job but there is room for future improvement. . (Make me a 2700K version and I'll buy it!)
